This oak needlework box has been basecoated in a soft cream, and sprays and garlands of violets have been hand painted on. The inside is lined in one of my favourite fabrics, a Jane Churchill pink and green check - yummmm! This is a one off, as the work box was found at an antiques fair.

This a another Folk Art inspired chopping/cheese board. The basecoat is red oxide colour, and there is a mirror-image posey of daisies in the centre, surrounded by a leaf garland border - all hand painted (see detail photo below).
As with my other chopping boards, the design has been well varnished, so can be safely wiped with a damp cloth. All the cutting takes place on the other side of the board.
Size: 20 x 30cm
Price: £16.00 plus carriage.
This is a key rack, with four brass hooks, and a sweet, handpainted, clifftop view over the sea, where the sun is setting on the horizon, boats scud across the bay, and a lighthouse keeps watch over the scene.
Comes complete with two strong D-loop hooks, so it's ready to hang.
Size: 18cm high x 17cm wide.
Price: £7.50 plus carriage
Here's a couple more examples of my wooden Treasure Boxes. These are painted (these examples have been basecoated in a pale blue, topcoated in cobalt blue, and softly distressed to reveal the undercoat below, but other colours are available). Then the centre of the lid has a handpainted panel, containing various scenes of buildings, birdhouses and trees. See detail photo below.
Size: 15cm wide x 11.5cm deep x 7.7cm high (highest point of curved lid)
