Hand Painted pieces:

Most of these are items I have done for my own pleasure and then happily sold at craft shops or craft fayres. Some have been commisions.

This is a little oak stool/ hop-up. It is painted all over in a soft blue with a wash of white paint to make it appear 'pickled'. On the top are three hand painted images of herbs, creating a faux decoupage effect. Yep, these are entirely hand painted, there is no paper stuck on. Here's some close-ups of the herbs...

This little stool is available.
Size: 30.5cm long x 16.5cm wide x 23.3cm high
Price: £25.00 plus carriage

Letter Rack painted in soft green, with sprays of hand painted daisies and leaves. The central motif of three daisies is also repeated on the back. I've sold several of these, and can do more.
Size: 33.5cm wide x 17cm high (at the back) x 16cm deep
Price: £15.00 plus carriage

Tiny chest of drawers (approx 15cm wide) painted in dark forest green, with gold hand painted wreath motif and decorative band on the plinth.
Sold.

This is an amazing Lazy Susan, involving a lot of processes, and a detailed hand painted floral cluster.
The bare wood is painted in a red oxide colour, dry brushed with gold. Then the central panel is basecoated in pearl and antique white, creating a mottled pattern. Crackle Medium is applied to the outer band,

and pearly blues, pinks and creams are painted on top creating a look of mother of pearl.

The central panel is picked out with coachlining in red oxide colour. There is a simple leaf border in forest green, surrounding the central floral motif. The whole piece is then given lots of coats of varnish, so is completely safe to use and wipe down with a damp cloth. Diameter is approximately 40cm.
I've sold lots of these.
Price was £ 35.00 Currently sold out.

'Houses' wall plaque. This serves no functional purpose, it's just lovely to look at. Here's some of the details...
This one was approximately 50cm long, and £18.00. Sold.

'Cats' Cheese Board. Simply painted in a mushroom basecoat. Two bands of Coachlining in red oxide colour, with antiquing applied outside the bands, and the cats sit in the centre panel. The reverse of the board is plain wood, so cheese is served on the wooden side, but when the board is not being used, the cats can be on display.

The cat side has been coated with varnish, so is safe to be wiped with a damp cloth.

This was a one off, as the board was bought at an antiques fair, though I have used the cats on other pieces. Here's some detail. The diameter is approximately 25cm. Sold.

'Daisy' Chopping Board. Painted in a pretty french blue, with leaf and berry border round a central spray of daisies. I do this with a lovely green background too, as per the Daisy letter rack. I've sold lots of these.                                                                                       Diameter: 25cm                                                                             Price: £12.50 plus carriage.
This large oak tea tray (approx 50cm x 30) is painted in soft mushroom, and has quite a complex, detailed floral border, which has then been antiqued. This piece has several coats of varnish to make it really tough and wipe clean. This was a one off as the tray was bought at an antiques fair. Sold.
'Delftware' treasure box. This design is smothered in tiny flowers, butterflies, ladybirds and beetles. It is inspired by Delft pottery. I have sold several of these.
Size: 15cm wide x 11.5cm deep x 7.5cm high (highest point of curved lid)
Price: £8.50 plus carriage
Stepping Stones. These stepping stones are cast concrete and therefore suitable for outdoor use. The 'fossil' has been given a bronze paint effect, and the rest of the stepping stone has been given a limestone paint effect. The whole thing has then been coated with a brickwork sealer for use outside, and I recommend that the stepping stone is recoated every year with sealer, to protect the paint effects from wear. I have sold several of these, and have more available.

Price: £10.00
These are concrete, so cannot post!! Buyer would need to collect. Please email me.
This is a tiny selection of my hand painted work, and I will be adding to this section, depend upon it! I will also add some sizes and prices.
